The mission of Strings Music Festival is to present innovative programs of distinctive classical and popular contemporary music in an intimate and friendly setting to audiences of all ages, enhancing the cultural, educational and entertainment experiences of the community of Northwest Colorado and its visitors. Concerts are held at the intimate 569-seat Strings Music Pavilion, located at the corner of Mt. Werner and Pine Grove Roads in Steamboat Springs.

Enjoy a very challenging 18 holes of miniature golf putting through rocks, logs and their famous Oak Creek Mine. Amaze'n Steamboat Family Amusement Park is perfect for everybody. All ages are welcome! Alongside their mini golf course, they offer laser tag, bungee trampolines, gemstone painting, basketball, and much more. Be sure to stop by for a day of fmaiy fun! 

The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market is located on 7th and Yampa streets and the 7the street parking lot and is held on Saturdays from Mid-June to Mid-September. The farmers market features fresh fruit and vegetables each week, however due to the climate and the limited amount of produce grown locally in the Steamboat Springs area, they have expanded beyond what you may see at your typical farmer’s market. This is the perfect place to spend a morning with friends and family enjoying fresh food and hand made merchandise. 

The Steamboat Wine Festival is a premier destination event where master winemakers, culinary greats, and distinguished guests gather to play, wine, and dine in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Experience more than 100 food artisans, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and locally-made products at this ultimate food and wine experience. 

Enjoy a day or evening on a fifth generation Routt county families ranch. The Bar Lazy L Ranch offers sleigh rides, wagon rides, farm to table dinners and more. There are also a number of activities that you can participate in on the ranch such as horseback riding and other outdoor activities!

Located in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs, Bucking Rainbow runs five different rivers ranging from mild to wild. Whether it’s a scenic float trip or a Class IV adventure, your family will enjoy a fun-filled trip with their expert staff. From mid-May through late September, they offer half, full and multi-day excursions with the ability to cater to large groups. 

Catamount Ranch & Club is Steamboat's only private golf course and 532-acre lake. Their 18-hole Tom Weiskopf designed golf course has been ranked in Golf Digest's Top 10 Colorado golf courses! They also have some of the best fly fishing around!

The Colorado River Center offers one 1/2 day and one full day trip a day. Their laid back approach allows their guides to not have to ‘hurry up and go’ for the next trip. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Colorado River without being rushed. 

Colorado River Guides offers whitewater rafting and inflatable kayak trips on the Colorado River and Eagle River out of Vail and Steamboat Springs. It is the perfect family friendly activity during the summer season!

Del's is a family owned and operated ranch located 20 miles north of Steamboat Springs offering scenic horseback rides in a wilderness setting.

Emerald City Opera promotes professional opera and the vocal arts in Northwest Colorado through educational and musical opportunities in collaboration with world-class artists. Event calendars and tickets are available online and it is the perfect activity to bring the family to for a relaxing night indoors. 

Fish Creek Falls is one of the most popular destinations around Steamboat Springs. Just minutes from downtown Steamboat, it's easy to enjoy the wilderness it provides thoughout the enitre summer. It is easily accessible for the entire family with a short 1/4-mile walk down a gravel path is a pristine view of the lower falls. There is also a moderate hike with picturesque views that will take the more adventurous to Upper Fish Creek Falls and Long Lake, deep in the Routt National Forest. It is a year round experience so be sure to visit during your next stay in Steamboat Springs! There is no offseason and Fish Creek Falls.

Guests at Grizzle-T Dog Sledding have the opportunity of "Driving Your Own Dog Team" or simply traveling as a passenger in one of the "Guide Driven" sleds along the backcountry trails located just outside of Steamboat Springs. The terrain is very similar to the interior of Alaska or Canada’s Yukon. With pristine, groomed trail snaking through the heart of Colorado’s mountainous ranch country, offering amazing mountain and valley scenery along with the occasional elk, coyote or other animal sightings.

The Hahns Peak Area Historical Society is responsible for the preservation and management of the Hahns Peak Schoolhouse, the Wither Cabin, and the Hahns Peak Museum and Pole Barn. It is the perfect activites for a day of learning for the whole famiy! 

Haymaker Golf Course is a public, 18 hole links course designed by nationally acclaimed golf course architect Keith Foster. Featuring mountain views, natural wetlands and native grasses, the course is set in the beautiful Yampa Valley of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Haymaker welcomes all levels of golfers and offers PGA level instruction, club fitting, a full service golf shop and The Haymaker Patio Grill for dining.
