Steamboat Art Museum

The Steamboat Art Museum was formed in December of 2005. In 2006 the City of Steamboat Springs was given the historic First National Bank building located in downtown Steamboat Springs. SAM is the only fine art museum in Northwest Colorado. Their mission is to collect, preserve and present fine art to the public with an emphasis on the culture and heritage of northwestern Colorado.

Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym

The Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym/Yampa Valley Art Institute is a teaching facility devoted to facilitating fine art programs for Kids, Teens and Adults.  Teachers or instructors are from the local area as well as regional and national artists. Classes and weekend workshops are for all skill levels.

Steamboat Golf Club

The Steamboat Golf Club has remained a treasure in The Yampa Valley. With generous fairways, small target greens, and challenging shots, a round here will satisfy even the most discriminating player. Open to the public and host to an active social schedule, The Steamboat Golf Club along with our 100 Member/Owners continues to play an integral role in the local community. The 9- hole course borders the Yampa River featuring beautiful views of the valley and Steamboat ski mountain.

Steamboat Gondola

Take a ride up Mt. Werner and enjoy the views that can only be appreciated from Steamboat's own eight-passenger gondola. Enjoy panoramic views, wildflowers, and changing aspen as you ride the gondola. Scenic gondola rides run from 10:00am to 4:00pm with the last download by 4:30pm during the summer. Sundays will open at 9:30am. Gondola tickets are valid all day, weather permitting.

Steamboat Lake Marina

Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and camping making Steamboat Lake one of the most popular areas in Colorado. By late summer the water temperatures only reach the low 70’s for a refreshing dip in the lake. Swimming is only available at The Dutch Hill swim beach.

Camping at Steamboat Lake offers a spectacular opportunity to immerse yourself in clean, crisp air and true Rocky Mountain living while boating is one of the more popular activities during the summer. Winter is also a time to visit the lake as there is snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing in a valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

Steamboat Ski Resort

With six peaks, nearly 3,000 acres of terrain, abundant Champagne Powder snow, 84-year Olympic heritage, and family programs rated best in the industry, Steamboat is worth taking the road less travelled to feel like you're a world away. The mountain has diverse terrain and excellent tree skiing that people all over the world come to enjoy. They also have one of the most recognized SnowSports schools in the world. They get an annual snowfall of around 338" a year. Skiing is a must do if you visit Steamboat Springs in the Winter.

Steamboat Snowmobile Tours

With Steamboat Snowmobile Tours your trip  begins with complimentary shuttle service from your lodging to one of a rustic mountain cabins, well stocked with helmets, boots, snow bibs, and warm drinks. After a short introduction on snowmobiling, you will be off on forested trails to the high mountain peaks. Your guide will point out the scenic highlights, allowing plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the majestic views. When you want to venture out on your own, you will be shown the prime spots for enjoying Steamboat's famous champagne powder.

Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series

The award-winning Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series takes place every Friday and Saturday night from June 17 through August 20 in Downtown Steamboat Springs. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. with the exception of the Fourth of July Weekend shows which begin at 6:30 p.m. The rodeo is one of the most popular events in town so be sure to get there early!
