The Steamboat Smokehouse is a local favorite that is ideal for families with children as well as boasts a fun bar scene. The portions are large and very tasty, the chefs and cooks really care about the quality of the food that comes out of their kitchen. A few favorites include the sweet potato fries, jalapeno sausage and the St. Louis ribs. The Steamboat Steakhouse is actually Steamboat's only Texas-style barbeque. They have 10 beers on tap, brisket, pulled pork and many more mouth-watering options. They also have take-out, private parties and off site catering. 

Sunpie's Bistro overlooks the Yampa River from the back lawn. This is the perfect drinking spot for a sunny afternoon with delicious food and friendly bartenders as well. The bar is a locals favorite with a lot of character. Everyone seems to love their Po Boy Sandwich and the Hurricanes, though many will warn to drink slowly. This bar has been the perfect spot for good and affordable food and drinks for many years and is the best place to stop after a long day on the slopes or tubing down the Yampa. 

Sweet Pea Cafe has wonderful outdoor seating along the Yampa River complete with fantastic service no matter when you come here. In addition to a cafe it is also a small market with local food, much of it organic. The food in the cafe is fresh, creative and delicious. The food is made with great attention to detail and serving locally-sourced food. This restaurant offers a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Their selection of salads and sandwiches will have you struggling to decide which you want to try. 

The Cabin is a prime Colorado Steak and Chophouse. They have been awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for its wine list. Their menu selections are diverse and delicious, ranging from USDA Prime Midwestern corn fed beef, and native Colorado game including elk, buffalo and Rocky Mountain trout. No visit to Steamboat is complete without a visit to The Cabin.

The Drunken Onion is a Get-and-Go Kitchen in the Wildhorse Marketplace. They offer take n' bake pizzas, sandwiches, picnic lunches and more. Their meals are fresh and wholesome perfect for those looking for convenience without compromise. They always have a large selection of classic meals to choose from, but the menu also changes seasonally and the daily specials are great, too. They have grab-n-go homemade soups, fresh salads, and hot and cold sandwiches available every day. The Egg & I serves up breakfast and lunch daily in Steamboat Springs. Menu favorites include benedicts, omelettes, waffles and whole wheat pancakes. All of their jams and jellies are made during peak season and canned in-house. The Rusted Porch is located between the Steamboat Ski Area and downtown, along the Wildhorse Stadium movie cinemas. They're open every day from 11 AM until 9 PM with a daily Happy Hour from 2-6 PM. The Rusted Porch's menu consists of American comfort food with a twist. Serving up everything from signature burgers and salads to unexpected bacon delights, you're in for a treat when you come here. The kids menu has all the classics that kids love, including mac n' cheese, chicken strips and burgers

The Shack Cafe has been a staple of Steamboat since 1969. They serve breakfast and lunch with favorites such as omelets, pancakes, waffles, and French toast for breakfast, while lunch features a large selection of sandwiches, burgers and salads. The Snowbird Restaurant & Lounge is located slopeside at the Ptarmigan Inn, offers the best value and convenience for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Apres Ski Happy Hour. During ski season the restaurant serves breakfast from 7 until 11 AM daily. Their chef will prepare you a breakfast specialty, served with fresh fruit or hash browns. Lunch specialties include fresh made soup, chili and salads as well as their award winning crab cakes. The Snowbird should be your go-to spot after a day of skiing for their legendary Apres Ski Happy Hour. Unwind and relax in the coziest ski-in/ski-out lounge in Steamboat. 

The Tap House is a locals favorite located in the heart of downtown Steamboat. They are open every day from 11 AM until 2 AM so you can stop in for lunch, dinner, or a drink while watching your favorite game on one of 50 HD TV's. Every seat is a great one at The Tap House. They offer family friendly dining, delicious food, a video arcade inside, 21 beers on tap and a daily happy hour; they've got it all! Three Peaks Grill offers Steamboat's only raw bar which includes East and West coast exotic oysters, Northeast clams and Alaskan crab. Three Peaks Grill serves American cuisine with steaks that are always cooked to perfection as well as a selection of chicken and seafood. Their specials and events will keep you coming back every week. On Tuesdays all oysters are $1.00, Thursday is Ladies night with 1/2 price appetizers and they even have live jazz on Friday nights.
