Haymaker Golf Course

Haymaker Golf Course is a public, 18 hole links course designed by nationally acclaimed golf course architect Keith Foster. Featuring mountain views, natural wetlands and native grasses, the course is set in the beautiful Yampa Valley of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Haymaker welcomes all levels of golfers and offers PGA level instruction, club fitting, a full service golf shop and The Haymaker Patio Grill for dining.

High Mountain Snowmobile Tours

Begin your trip with complimentary shuttle service from your lodging to one of High Mountain's rustic mountain cabins, well stocked with helmets, boots, snow bibs, and warm drinks. After a short introduction on snowmobiling, you will be off on forested trails to the high mountain peaks. Your guide will point out the scenic highlights, allowing plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the majestic views.

Hot Springs Adventures

There are very few places like this on the earth. Howelsen Ice Arena

The Howelsen Ice Arena is a local and visitor favorite in Steamboat that offers regular Public Skate times as well as Stick & Puck and Drop-In hockey for all ages! The ice arena is also the only ice arena in Colorado to offer Bumper-Cars-On-Ice. The arena is home to the Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association, Steamboat Sailors High School Hockey Team, and the Steamboat Springs Figure Skating Club and also offers a variety of camps for all ages.

Howelsen Ski Area

Howelsen Hill offers downhill and cross-country skiing as well as snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowbiking, and ski jumping. Night skiing/riding is available 3 nights a week. It is also Colorado's oldest ski area as it opened over 100 years ago in 1915. Howelsen Hill also boasts the largest natural ski jump complex in North America and has a base elevation of 6,969 feet and is 7,136 at its peak.

Medicine Bow - Routt National Forests

The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland cover nearly 2.9 million acres from north central Colorado to central and northeastern Wyoming. There are year-round recreation opportunities around in the Forests. These activities include hiking, biking, camping, horse riding, OHV riding, fishing, hunting, sightseeing, photography and a wide array of winter sports. Midnight Ranch

Enjoy summer and winter activities at Midnight Ranch! Winter brings out the snowmobiles, skiers and all the other great things to do in the snow, especially when conditions are close to perfect and the scenery is spectacular. Mount Werner

Mount Werner is one of the main peaks in the Steamboat Ski Mountain. The mountain offers a variety of hiking and biking trails for visitors and locals to enjoy. It's just a quick drive from downtown Steamboat Springs. On the top of the mountain, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Colorado landscape. Be sure to take a hike on the mountain during the summer months! It is one of Steamboat's most popular activities.

Mount Zirkel Wilderness Area

The Mount Zirkel Wilderness lies within the Routt National Forest near Steamboat Springs. There are over 70 lakes within the wilderness as well as 15 peaks over 12,000 feet, the highest being 12,180 foot Mount Zirkel. Over 150 miles of trails provide access and the wilderness offers a variety of recreational opportunities. This is a perfect activity for those who love enjoy the outdoors with their friends and family. Visitors looking for solitude can find it if they come during the week and/or visit less-popular areas.
